The Anyware Technologies experts, who have been involved in Eclipse projects for several years, participate actively in updating the tool and its code by submitting patches (code snippets), commenting on observed bugs, writing white papers and sharing their knowledge through conferences, blogs, chats and other forums. Benjamin Cabé, an Eclipse expert at Anyware Technologies, distinguished himself by winning the ‘Top Contributor' award over thousands of other contributors across the entire world. The award reveals Cabé's dedicated and dynamic involvement in the progress of the Eclipse community.
The company was also a finalist for the best RCP application award for a testing and measurement application developed for the Tricastin nuclear plant. This recognition reflects the company's Eclipse expertise, based on its work over the past 5 years for industrial companies such as Airbus, EADS and EDF developing many business applications based on various Eclipse components. Anyware Technologies also organises training sessions and participates in bringing the platform to a wide audience.
Again this year, many events are scheduled to illustrate the benefits of relying on Eclipse to audiences of decision-makers or technical experts.
- The Eclipse Time event: the "Eclipse Spring Event," organised by Anyware Technologies for the 4th consecutive year, will be held in Toulouse on 23 and 24 June 2009. The event will bring together members of the Eclipse Foundation, experts and industrial stakeholders for a series of conferences in which each participant will be able to present his or her own feedback. The second day, designed for a more advanced audience, will offer a series of training workshops to address various projects from a technical perspective (IDE for embedded Eclipse, development of RCP projects, etc.). - Free, half-day training courses presenting the strategic aspects of Eclipse will be held in Bordeaux, Grenoble, Sofia and Toulouse during the months of May and June. These courses will introduce decision-makers to the functional side of Eclipse and help them to understand how the platform offers a solution for their industrial issues.
