  • Continuing to deliver on its commitment to provide Java developers productivity with choice, Oracle today announced Oracle(R) Enterprise Pack for Eclipse Release 11g. This is a free component of Oracle Fusion Middleware designed to help developers leverage their expertise in Eclipse with the comprehensive capabilities of Oracle Fusion Middleware.
  • Key enhancements in this release include Object-Relational Mapping (ORM), Spring and Web Service tools to help reduce development complexity for Java and database developers targeting Oracle platforms.
  • The Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse is designed to help organizations where Eclipse is the preferred Integrated Development Environment (IDE) by providing a set of Eclipse plug-ins to help develop, deploy and debug Java SE, Java EE, Spring, ORM and Web Service applications for Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Database.

    • Support for multiple versions of Oracle WebLogic Server (8.1, 9.x, 10.x); and,
    • Continued support for Kodo/OpenJPA applications.
  • A Strategic Developer and Eclipse Foundation Board Member, Oracle has a long-standing history of active participation in the Eclipse community. Oracle currently leads several Eclipse-based projects including:
