Palamida Expands Open Source Reach

PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- O'Reilly Open Source Convention (OSCON) -- Palamida(TM) today announced alliances with two major open source organizations, Eclipse Foundation, Inc. and In addition to extending the reach of its software intellectual property compliance solution, IP Amplifier, the new relationships will also ease open source developers' concerns about the utilization of their custom-created intellectual property, and allow organizations to be more confident in their use of open source software.

Palamida has joined the Eclipse Foundation as an Add-In Provider and will work with the Eclipse community to increase adoption of IP compliance as an element of the software development process. Using its range of source and binary detection techniques via an add-in to the Eclipse environment, the Palamida IP Amplifier will make it easier and more productive for Eclipse developers to accelerate their adoption of open source technology with confidence.

Separately, the company has teamed with to more tightly couple the site with its IP Amplifier product, ensuring that Palamida can provide an immensely comprehensive and up to date library of open source projects.
