SGN Expands Executive Team With Rockstar Roster of New Hires

Company Bolsters Management Team With Execs From Electronic Arts, Lucas Arts, Gameloft, Ubisoft and Vivendi Mobile Games and More

PALO ALTO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/23/09 -- SGN, a leading social gaming company, has increased the strength of its leadership team to accelerate its fast-paced growth. The additions come during a period of dramatic increase of the company's core business activities. To date, F.A.S.T. has sold over 400,000 units, 24% of all iPhone and iPod touches have installed iBowl, and at least one out of every three devices has downloaded at least one SGN game. To support increased development efforts, SGN has brought aboard a number of senior executives to develop key functional areas of the business.

Randy Breen, a game industry veteran, has joined SGN as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), to provide leadership in all aspects of corporate operations, including game production, business development, strategy and executive management. Randy joined EA pre-IPO in 1986 when it was less than 100 people and where he spent fourteen years in production roles culminating in a five year term as Executive Producer and Creative Director. He created the multimillion unit selling Road Rash franchise and managed over two dozen titles for PC and console on all platforms and in Simulation, Sports, Action, Shooter, and RPG categories. After EA, Randy joined LucasArts Entertainment, a subsidiary of LucasFilm, as Vice President of Product Development. After five years at LucasArts Randy joined Emotiv Systems as the Chief Product Officer, responsible for the company's research and development as well as its business development activities.

Randy is a former non-commissioned officer who spent six years in the Navy, four years serving on a nuclear submarine. He is also an avid marathon runner and triathlete and rides a Ducati to SGN everyday.

Randy's extensive range of direct involvement includes business planning, market analysis, forecasting, P&L management, conceptualization, product design, interdisciplinary team building, organizational management, contract negotiation, business development and fund raising. He has managed and worked closely with marketing, sales, legal, and finance teams in each of these areas.

As the Director of Game Design, Randy Angle, another gaming legend, has joined the team to spearhead the development and engineering for SGN's games. He has a passion for designing creative and innovative games. His credits include over 60 games, in every genre, on every imaginable platform, many as Lead Designer and Creative Director. Brands he has made games for include: Star Trek, LEGO, Lord of the Rings, Dungeons & Dragons, Spiderman, Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants, Fairly Odd Parents, Danny Phantom, Jimmy Neutron, Zorro, Deal or No Deal, 1 VS 100 and many original titles.

The most recent addition to SGN's rapidly growing staff is Margaret Foley-Mauvais, serving as Art Director. She is a classically trained fine artist and graphic designer and has been in the games industry for almost 20 years, 16 of which were spent at Electronic Arts. At Electronic Arts she provided art direction for over 15 major titles, including Road Rash, Soviet and Nuclear Strike, Rumble Racing, Majestic, The Godfather, The Sims Online (aka EALand) and The Lord of The Rings: The Third Age, one of the first games nominated for an award by the Visual Effects Society. Margaret was also a Director of User Experience on Tirnua, a new online virtual world, with the goal of building a strong environmental platform for social interactivity.

To lead development, production and resource management for SGN, Dan Brazelton has joined the team as Executive Producer. In this capacity he is responsible for overseeing development and quality assurance for social games and iPhone applications. He has over 17 years experience in digital media production, including marketing games, television and feature films. Dan managed cutting-edge digital media integration on such titles as The Horde, Solar Eclipse and Gex for Crystal Dynamics. At Total Entertainment Networks Dan managed the development and deployment of massive multiplayer servers such as Diablo and Quake.

To help build awareness for the brand and further drive adoption for the service, Adriana Gascoigne joins SGN as Director of Global Communications. Adriana was previously Director of Marketing for hi5, a social networking company, and VP of Digital Marketing at Ogilvy, a worldwide creative agency. Adriana has also held corporate, social marketing, and brand marketing positions at GUBA, Hill and Knowlton, Manning, Selvage & Lee. Eric Huynh has brought extensive global experience from his previous role at Vivendi Games (now Activision / Blizzard), to help propel SGN's progressive social gaming strategy to new platforms and markets. Eric was Founding CTO of Gameloft, the industry's biggest mobile gaming company, and the founding CTO of Ubisoft, one of the largest gaming companies globally.

Eric Lindstrom now oversees all aspects of game design, concept and character generation, game production and team management. Eric is a 20-year industry veteran whose career includes game design and writing at Electronic Arts and Crystal Dynamics on numerous franchises, from The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes (1992) to Tomb Raider: Underworld (2008). He has also been nominated for videogame screenplay awards by The Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), and was recently named one of the Hot 100 Game Developers of 2009 by Edge Magazine.

To continue in the development of world-class games informed by actionable real time data, Jeff Weiser was promoted to the role of Vice President, Strategy and Analytics. Since joining SGN in 2008, Jeff has been instrumental in developing highly scalable product analytics and helping to build a company strategy to increase user traction.
